Lettering
Project 1: Calligraphy
This is the first project completed in my lettering arts class. We went back to the basics of lettering and had a few weeks focusing on creating letterforms based on traditional calligraphy, using a chiseled pen nib. The quote for this project was given to us by the professor.
Project 2: One Word Advice
The lettering for this project is based upon that of Victorian wood type. We had to research what this old wooden type would have looked like and create letterforms based upon that. We also had to choose the word for the advice portion.
Project 3: Collaborative alphabet
This final project in this class was a collaborative alphabet. Each student was given 3 letters of the alphabet to letter in any way desired. My letters were the letter U and O.
